In the event an emergency occurs on campus, you may be asked to take certain protective actions. The primary method of communicating instructions during an emergency will be the College’s Emergency Notification system utilizing text messages, email and voice mail. A student may update contact information, notably a cell phone number by logging in to Online Services and selecting Personal Information under the Settings and Tools tab. The most common protective actions requested will be:

ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate)
ÌåÓýÊÔÍæÕ˺Šutilizes the ALICE Program as a tool to help improve our safety and security procedures, specifically in regard to active shooter and violent intruder response. ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) training prepares individuals to handle the threat of an Active Shooter. ALICE teaches individuals to participate in their own survival while leading others to safety.

Though no one can guarantee success in this type of situation, this new set of skills will greatly increase the odds of survival should anyone face this form of disaster.

At the beginning of each semester, you will be notified of the schedule of on-campus training sessions open to all members of the College community.

  • Don’t use the same password for all of your sites and change your passwords often.
